A thread to discuss the most horrific/unappealing profession. This goes both ways, male and female professions. Not only facial appearance, but armor counts as well.
My vote goes toward both male and female assassins. The male assassins have a horrible choice selection of faces. The females have a horrible selection of faces too, not to mention they look anorexic. Anorexia FTL!

What ever happened to the NPC Templates like Nika I like that hairstyle on female sins the best like the Devona style from Prophecies?

I think that NF monks look horrible, I also agree with the assassin disgust. Although I made a sexy looking sin by mixing armour. And one of my biggest pet peeves is when ppl make dumb looking characters for "fun"

Actually, that's a traditional form of desert wear. I'm not sure of the exact thermodynamics involved, but in particularly hot deserts you are actually better off in loose robes than in light outfits. I suspect its a combination of keeping the sun off your skin and being able to form a microclimate beneath the robes which is cooler than the air outside.
(Keep in mind that in most parts of the world, we're used to two things encouraging wearing less to keep cool: First, that the outside temperature is usually less than our internal body temperature (even if we're acclimatised in such a manner that 30 degrees C feels hot, it's still less than our body temperature) and that the wind will cool you down - in this case, insulation results in things being hotter under the clothes. As you get around the 45-50 degree C mark, however, this starts to turn around - insulation means, instead of getting hotter, that you at least have a chance of remaining cooler than your environment.)

I feel sorrier for the male eles - at least derv robes are loose, which is a good thing. The male eles wear mage robes, which in GW consist of, well, at least two layers, some of which look very thick indeed. (Ancient armor, anyone?)

All NPC's have better faces and armor skins if you ask me. I think that someone asked Gaile why once before, her reply was something along the lines that NPC's are just textures, they are easier to make? Something like that, but I am not 100% certain.

No offense meant, but that necro is fugly. The hair makes me lol. It's all opinion. Posting your character class that people find to be ugly is not gonna change their mind. It's just gonna prove why they find it ugly.

Well if she doesn't actually look sickly pale I guess I can change my mind. Very pale characters just look bad to me.

I need to add the following:
Male NF monks and paragons with beards. Full-fledged Santa-like beards. Look amazingly ugly, I apologize to anyone with a beard on this forum, but I really don't dig those.

I love what you did with that screenshot. It feels alive to me. And, it is a great looking ritualist.

Beards are awesome [and I wish I had one]. Anyway, at one time I refused to play [male] warriors because of their bulky body type; I ended up making a female warrior after the release of factions, however. Also, the male monks look strange around their neck/shoulder area.
